Is your claimant hiding out in their home but posting workout videos online? Or perhaps their social media is completely blocked, but by learning their habits and hobbies, investigators can look in other places that may show your subject doing something they’re not supposed to be doing.
Let me give you the example of the Boxing Instructor with a slip and fall that was unable to work due to alleged injuries. Surveillance showed that the claimant was walking slowly and rarely went out, but when we looked more closely at his life, we were able to dig deep and find a Boxing Conference that took place one month before surveillance efforts began but many months after the incident. By researching the conference, we were able to find many open profiles with videos, etc. And there our claimant was, participating in a boxing class and jumping up and down in the air – all on video. Needless to say, this resulted in one very happy client.
