Marc Hurwitz attended SUNY Buffalo for a B.A. degree in Political Science, and The George Washington University for a M.A. degree in National Security Policy.
Marc began government service with Senator Daniel Patrick Moynihan, and continued in the U.S. Department of State’s Human Rights Bureau. He then worked in the White House for three years, where he served as the aide to the Deputy National Security Advisor. Marc went on to become a counter-terrorism officer for the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), and later worked for the government in multiple overseas posts, earning several commendations for meritorious service.
In 2008, Marc opened Crossroads Investigations to sub-contract for retired CIA Chiefs of Stations with corporate due diligence contracts. Crossroads has since expanded into a full-service Private Investigation and Due Diligence firm, named by the Daily Business Review as the top Private Investigation Agency in South Florida.
Marc is a Florida Board Certified Investigator, a National Board Accredited Investigator, and a Certified International Investigator.
Marc is accredited by the Stave & Thief Society as a Bourbon Steward.

Chantal Kahale serves as Crossroads’ Business Development Management Consultant, providing strategic business development direction. She supports organizational growth by providing strategic business development direction, building new relationships and maintaining existing client relations, as well as ensuring that Crossroads Investigations has all systems and procedures in place to optimize operational workflow, and to ensure that client projects are completed according to plan. Chantal brings with her a vast amount of experience working for international companies in positions across Europe, the Middle East and North America. She has worked to broaden the reach of these corporations to new markets, and most recently, has established herself as a leading business connector throughout South Florida’s legal and business communities.
Client Relations Manager
Peter Davidson serves as Crossroads’ Business Development and Client Relations Manager. Peter is a native of Washington, D.C. who graduated from Tufts University in 2008 with a Bachelor of Arts in both political science and English, and a Juris Doctorate from Howard University in 2013. Peter’s professional experience has spanned the worlds of policy, politics, and the law, and he is happy to utilize those experiences to in service to Crossroads’ existing and prospective clients.
Lashelle Roundtree serves as Crossroads’ Senior Intelligence Analyst. She received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Georgetown University with a concentration in Finance and a minor in Economics. She received her Master’s degree from the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts University. In 2010, Lashelle completed a certificate program for Business Consultants at the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Business. She has completed full-time Turkish language training, travels extensively, and resided overseas.
Lashelle began her government career working as a Financial Analyst for the Federal Reserve Board in Washington DC. She then moved to Wall Street to work for the American International Group (AIG) as a Risk Analyst before returning to the federal government to join the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA). She began her CIA career as an Intelligence Analyst covering financial crimes and money laundering issues. Later as a Senior Counterterrorism Analyst, she identified actors and processes associated with global terrorist financial networks. Most recently, Lashelle has worked as a Senior Strategy Consultant to help commercial and government organizations develop and implement programs promoting innovative thinking, organizational change, and sustainable operations.
