Risk Management Investigations
Former CIA Officer | Board Certified Investigator | Florida License A2900334
In short: a risk management investigation finds out what could hurt your business or case before it does, and documents it in a written report. We look at contracts, competitors, internal misconduct, litigation exposure and workplace problems, for businesses and the attorneys who advise them.
Types of risk we investigate
Contract risk. Disputes over what was promised, who did what and where the money went. We gather the documents and facts behind the dispute for your attorney. See breach of contract investigations.
Competitive risk. Unfair practices, misuse of confidential information and non-compete violations by a competitor or former employee. See competitive investigations.
Internal risk. Misconduct, fraud or theft by employees, partners and vendors. See corporate investigations.
Litigation risk. Witnesses, the other side, assets and evidence, before and during a case. See litigation investigations.
Workplace risk. Harassment, theft and misconduct at work, with an unbiased report for employers and HR teams. See workplace investigations.

What is a risk management investigation?
It is an investigation that identifies and documents a business or legal risk, such as a contract dispute, a competitor, internal misconduct, a lawsuit or a workplace problem, so you can decide what to do about it.
When should I order one?
Before you sign or sue, when you suspect misconduct, when an employee leaves for a competitor, or when a complaint comes in.
Who uses it?
Business owners, HR teams, general counsel and the attorneys who advise them.
How is it different from due diligence?
Due diligence checks a person or company before a deal. Risk management looks at problems inside or around a business that already exists, such as a dispute, a competitor or misconduct. We can do both.
What do I receive?
A written report with the facts we found, the sources and what we could not confirm.
Do you serve businesses outside Miami?
Yes. We serve Miami, Fort Lauderdale and South Florida and work with clients across the country.
How much does it cost?
