When Should You Utilize Surveillance? by Marc Hurwitz
Have you ever wondered when and why you should utilize surveillance? When I tell people I’m a private investigator, often times their first question is if we do a lot of surveillance of cheating spouses. While we do have an expert surveillance team headed by a former FBI special agent, surveillance actually accounts for very little of our daily work at Crossroads. Why might this be?
Simple – surveillance is expensive. Whether or not something happens, you’re stuck paying an hourly rate. Therefore, the best use of surveillance is when you want an event documented and you know approximately where and when that event will occur. For example: if you know two people will meet at a certain cafe within a certain time-window and you want that meeting documented.
