Four Reasons to Hire a Private Investigator by Marc Hurwitz
When should you hire a private investigator? As you can imagine, we get calls everyday asking for all sorts of things. Before doing any investigating, I always ask a lot of questions because I like to know why someone wants a certain piece of information. Here are four situations in which you should consider hiring a private investigator:
1 – When you have a legal reason to do so. For example – you have a judgment against a company or person, and you’re looking for assets to collect.
2 – When you re considering doing business with someone and want to make an informed decision about a company and it’s key officers
3 – When you want to hire someone or lease to someone
4 – To confirm your suspicions of adultery. Though the proof is not necessary for divorce in all US states, it can have an impact when child custody and alimony are involved.
Sometimes when people call me, I do something that surprises them – I talk them out of hiring me. Why? Because sometimes people call me when they’re emotional. They make emotional decisions, and they throw out good money after bad. Next time you think you might need to hire a private investigator, give Crossroads a call and we’ll help you make the right decision.
